Dear First Grade Families,Happy Thursday! I wanted to send you an email regarding the “Saint Plate” report due on Monday, Oct. 21st.
Report
- All students were assigned a saint. (With the help of a parent) students should complete their report on their assigned saint.
- Students should complete the attached Saint report & include a photo in the blank square (your child can use the photo that was attached).
- Your child should cut out each of the squares on the Saint report, and glue them on a paper plate (yes, a plate!!).
- Using the stencil, students should create their saint on the other side of the paper plate.
- Students should be prepared to present their plate on the week of October 21st!
- The “Saint Plate” report is due Monday, October 21, 2019.
- The green rubric should be returned to school with your child’s project.
Dress-Up
- On November 1st, Students should come to school dressed up as any Saint.
- Saint costumes do not need to be elaborate!
- Students will process into Mass with the school in their costumes.
- Costumes should go over you child’s school uniform, as we will be changing in the classroom after Mass.
- The costume is part of your child’s total grade for their “Saint Plate” project.
