Good Evening First Grade Families,
Praying that everyone is well! Here are all the information that you and your child will need for next week, 2/22- 2/26
Agenda
Please see the agenda attached below.
Homework
We are back to our regular homework routine for this week, 4 DAILY sight word activity due on Thursday and 2 Raz-kids book (LISTEN, READ, RECORD, QUIZ)
The DAILY sight word homework is as a practice for your child. Doing all 4 activities in one day or 2 days just to get things done is not a good practice for your child. Have your child practice it every day, the more they see and practice the words, the more they will remember. This will prepare them for their test every Fridays. Let’s encourage and teach our first graders how to be responsible and hardworking students.

School Uniforms & Eating/ Drinking during class.
I’ve been noticing some students not wearing their school uniform during zoom classes. Please remember that even if your child is at home, ALL students MUST to wear their uniform. This is in our school handbook and a classroom rule. Being ready and prepared for our class is also a part of their work habit. Also, please avoid feeding your child during classes. We have a recess, lunch to eat, drink and use the restroom.
Missing classwork & homework
This will be the last week to submit all your child’s missing classwork and homework on Seesaw. I will only accept work till Thursday, February 28th 5pm. Submitting missing work early will allow me to finalize all grades and work on first grade report cards. Please check Gradelink for any missing classwork/homework.
