Dear Parents and Guardians,
Thank you to all families in Kindergarten to 7th grade who registered their child for next year on Gradelink. If you still need to register online, the fee has gone up to $175 per child.
Congratulations to our school for reaching our goal for our Spring Fundraiser and exceeding it! We earned $50,000! I am so thankful to all of you for your participation and am excited that we accomplished something so great together. Our winners will be announced on March 10.
As you know, our school will be reopening in a hybrid format starting on Monday, March 8. We are following all LA County guidelines, and have submitted our application to reopen. We hope to hear back from them within 7 business days. They are allowing grades K-6 to return on campus, following all safety protocols. Grades 7-8 will be able to return as the new “high needs cohort,” which means only 25% of the 7th and 8th graders can be on campus on any given day. More information regarding staggering pickup and drop off times, as well as recess and lunch schedules, and weekly Mass days for the 2 cohorts will be coming from your homeroom teachers. There will be an A and B Group on campus Monday-Thursday from 7:50-3pm. Group A will be on campus on Monday and Wednesday. Group B will be on campus Tuesday and Thursday. All students will learn virtually on Fridays, so teachers can meet with me for our weekly faculty meeting and students can participate in PE and Music. On Fridays, school will be dismissed at 1:30, as it takes the place of our Wednesday schedule starting March 8. Please watch out for detailed instructions from your child’s teachers about pickup and drop off lines, as it will be different from the past to maintain social distancing and safety. We thank you for your patience and flexibility, as we navigate through these carline procedures for the first time.
Thanks for returning your surveys so we can plan to keep families together on the same days. If we don’t hear back from you we will assume that your child will continue with remote learning. Starting March 8, we are looking for volunteers on yard duty to help with carline drop off and pick up and during recess and lunch for yard duty. Please email me if you are interested to help on days when your child is learning on campus. You will earn service hours for this. Thank you!
Reminder that Read Across America Week begins and Open Enrollment begins this week! See you all this Friday, March 5 at our 8am Family Mass in the church! Families will sit together. Please bring your masks to church. This Friday is the last day of the 2nd Trimester. Our 2nd Trimester Awards Ceremony will be held on Zoom on Friday, 3/12 at 9am after the K-4 Stations of the Cross on Zoom. .

RALPH’S AND FOOD 4 LESS COMMUNITY REWARDS PROGRAM
Just a reminder that our school is a member of the Community Rewards Programs for both Ralphs and Food 4 Less stores. For the Ralphs & the Food 4 Less Programs, you can opt in for the Community Rewards Program using your Ralphs or Food 4 Less Club Card, by following the directions to the email sent by Ms. Grimaldo. Please note that there is a different enrollment code for each of these stores. It is very important that you register the cards as soon as possible prior to the next time you use them, or the school will not receive benefits. Then please have the cashier scan the card or enter your ALT ID every time you make a purchase at Ralphs or Food 4 Less and we will receive a small percentage of each sale! We invite any parents or guardians who shop at Food 4 Less or Ralphs, even occasionally, to consider enrolling as this is an easy way to benefit the school without it costing you anything extra. We thank you in advance for your participation and thoughtfulness!
