Dear Parents and Guardians,
I hope you all had a blessed Easter break with your families. Jesus is truly Risen! Yesterday we celebrated the 2nd Sunday of Easter, which as we know, is also Divine Mercy Sunday! God has given us so many graces and for that we are grateful! Easter lasts 50 days, and ends on Pentecost Sunday.
Before the break, we had our Holy Week Lenten retreats in grade levels (K-4 and 5-8), and all were invited to participate in our Stations of the Cross online. This solemn remembrance is always a striking way to enter into the Easter Triduum and prepare for all of us to spiritually experience the joyful Resurrection of Christ on Easter Sunday.
This week we have our All-School Spelling Bee from 1-3pm in the Hall. It will be livestreamed. This Friday, we have our All-School Mass in the church at 8am, celebrated by Fr. Joseph McShane. All students work remotely that day, and dismissal is at 1:30pm. If you attend Mass, please sit with your families in your own pews, not with your child’s homeroom teachers. We ask that you wear your masks and keep socially distanced.
I want to remind you about our School’s First Reconciliation at 6:30pm on Monday, April 19. We are also almost halfway through the 3rd trimester. Progress reports go home the week of 4/26.
