Happy Friday! Here are the information you need for the week of 10/18 – 10/22
Our WASC visiting team will be on campus October 19-21. Few reminders, students must wear their complete and proper uniform. Please do not use your ‘free dress pass’ next week. On Wednesday, October 20 will be our school mass and students must wear their formal mass uniform.
Word Study (Focus: Words with long /i/ — i_e in hide; i in kind; ie in height; igh in high)
Study these words: silent, untie, mighty, highest, frightening, tricycle, retried, kindness, slight, mild, sight, pie, mind, tie, pilot, might, lie, tight, blind, fight midnight, find, frightening, driveway, provide, combine.
Target Vocabulary
Complete daily practice. Upload all completed work in Google Classroom Thursdays on/before 7pm
(Monday) Arrange the words in ABC order. Twice
(Tuesday) Write a sentence for each vocabulary word (red notebook)
(Wednesday) Use different colors to write your vocabulary words twice (red notebook)
(Thursday) Video record with eyes closed. Spell words out loud.

* fans – great admirers
* league – group of teams that compare against one another
* score – to make a point or points in a game
* polish – to make shine; to make something better
* style – a way of doing something

SAINT REPORT
— Saint Report information was posted on Google Classroom and went home already. Students were given a file folder to use for the project.
— Video presentation should be uploaded on Google Classroom on/before Oct. 29 at 4pm.
— Must bring the actual report (lap book) in-person on/before Nov. 1

Please note that this , is our Weekly COVID sign ups online. On campus testing through Pacific Toxicology will be held next on Monday, 10/22. If you would like to participate kindly fill out the form https://hipaa.jotform.com/212005922364144 by Thursday, October 21. I highly encourage that our students get tested weekly.
Halloween and All Saints Day
– Our Trunk or Treat and costume parade is on October 29. Please read Mrs. Grey’s email about Halloween costumes guidelines.
– Students must wear their saint costume on November 1 (Monday). Any saint of their choice. This will be part of their Religion participation grade.
Blue Mass
– To honor our first responders, we would like to invite and celebrate you, your family, and friends on November 5th at our 8am school mass. Please rsvp to the school office on or before Monday, November 1, 2021. After Mass, we invite those First Responders in attendance, to enjoy a continental breakfast with our
Student Government in the parish hall.
