Dear Parents and Guardians,
This is the last week of our Spring Fundraiser: Express Feedback for Good (EFG). We are doing a great job with our feedback! Our goal is to earn $40,000 for our school and we have already earned over $22,012.80. Each brand survey you do online is worth $1.60. Please spread the word. Each adult (18 and over) is encouraged to become a “Superstar” by giving high quality feedback in the form of brand opinions (max of 75 per person) from the comfort of their phone/device. Each survey should take about a minute. Please take your time on these surveys, so they can generate money for our school. There are no products to sell, and it costs nothing – only your time! Each survey takes about a minute. You and your family and friends will earn 2 service hours for each Superstar designated to your child when you send the school a screenshot. Please participate and encourage others to do so by this Friday!
Please note that we have just been notified that the Scott Family will be moving soon, so we wish them all the best. We want to thank our PLC Chair Angelic Nunez-Scott for her amazing leadership and selfless dedication to our school over the years (she is an alum of our school and Assistant to Bishop Marc Trudeau), and we pray blessings on her and her family on the next chapter of their lives. We also want to thank Coach Donald Scott for his service as Basketball Coach to our teams this year. We will also miss their beautiful children Annabeth (grade 1) and Luke (grade 4). God bless you all and keep you.
To ensure that you have full credit for all Superstars in your family, please email the office with your total hours by 2/17. Amy Lucas and Elvia Franco will be recording your service hours (up to 14 hours if you get 7 Superstars) with this EFG fundraiser. You can send the screenshots and tally your family’s total hours to: amabellalucas1972@gmail.com and elviafranco24@gmail.com
This past week we had our 2nd Mandatory General Parent Meeting and our first Fiesta meeting. Thank you all for joining us, and thank you for signing up for the Parent Leadership Committees.
Progress reports also went home last week so that means we are halfway through the 2nd trimester! Last week we also celebrated our 100th Day of school!
As a reminder, please do your LAUSD online survey using the link Mrs. Ray sent out. This is due by March 3. It’s important that we get 100% compliance, as this info generates funding for our school! If you send your child’s teacher a screenshot of the submission page, your child will receive a Free Dress pass. You also got the parent survey link. Mr. Lynch and I would love to hear your feedback. The positives are always wonderful to hear, and we also like hearing ways we can improve your experience here at SAP. We look forward to your suggestions as well.
The Junior High goes to Ocean Institute in Dana Point today. We pray for a fun, educational, and safe trip. Good luck to our basketball teams as they finish up their season! Congratulations to all our classes who did a fantastic job on their finale for Dancing with the Students last week and to all the winners! Have a Happy Valentine’s Day tomorrow and enjoy the long weekend coming up. Students may wear pink and red tops and jeans on 2/14. Monday, 2/20 is NO SCHOOL, due to Presidents’ Day!
Blessings,
Mrs. Grey and Mr. Lynch

SCHOOL DONATIONS AND SERVICE HOURS
For families looking to pay off their service hour commitment, our school gives the option to buy Scrip/gift cards and donate them to SAP. We buy a lot of materials and supplies from Office Depot, Walmart/Sam’s Club, Home Depot, Starbucks, and Target for much needed supplies, so if you buy Scrip valued at $15/hour and donate it to the school to offset costs, we will credit your service hour account. Parents who volunteer on Saturdays (every 2-3 weeks) can earn service hours cleaning our school with the Interior Maintenance PLC. Please join the group. Thanks in advance!
IMPORTANT EARLY REGISTRATION and RE-REGISTRATION INFO for RETURNING FAMILIES

Those with registration holds will be notified. New Kindergarten Registration is now happening for preschool students and siblings of current students. Congratulations to all our new students who have been accepted to our school for the 2023-2024 school year!
