Dear Kindergarten families,
I hope everyone is doing well! A shout out to the Manhattan Beach Rotarians for visiting our class and generously giving each of our students their own Illustrated Dictionary. Ask your child about our new game, “Stump the Teacher!”
Lenten Project- due on March 29th
During the season of LENT Almsgiving reminds us of Jesus’s call to serve and connect using solidarity with our brothers and sisters in need. Mrs. Garcia’s 5th grade class has partnered with PAULEY’s PROJECT to “improve the lives of those who find themselves homeless” through street outreach.
ALL SAP Classes, Kinder-8th grade, are asked to help make this service opportunity a success. Beginning Monday, March 13 through Wednesday, March 29, we will be collecting items to create 100 Hygiene Kits.
Donation boxes will be placed by the school office, the 5th grade classroom and in the Kindergarten classroom for you to place your donations. Thank you to all the families who have already sent in toothpaste and toothbrushes. As a class, we have enjoyed using our math skills to keep count!
Our goal is to collect 100 of each listed items:
