Dear Parents and Guardians,
This weekend our 5th grade families brought all your generous donations to Pauly’s Project. Thank you for joining us in helping those in need this Lent! Our first and fifth graders also hosted a bake sale this weekend. Those who could not attend the bake sale in 5th grade due to the service project are exempt from the $50 non-participation bake sale fine. Thanks for all your help in serving others.
Yesterday we celebrated Palm Sunday, and we begin Holy Week. Please note the last day of school before the break is on Thursday, 4/6. We’ll have noon dismissal and NO DAYCARE that day.
Our annual Spelling Bee for grades K–8 will be held This Wed, April 5 in the Hall after recess from 10:20-11:50. Congratulations to the finalists of the Spelling Bee and good luck to all!
We will also have our last All School Mass before Easter break that morning at 8am. Families are welcome to join us on Wed, April 5 in the church.
Next week is Easter Sunday, and we celebrate the Resurrection of Our Lord! I pray that you have a fruitful Lent, and a blessed Easter with your families. We should be changed because our Lord is King, and He has opened the gates of Heaven for us. We are His People and He loves us so much.
Easter break is from 4/7-4/16. School resumes on 4/17. We wish the best to our 8th graders, who will attend the retreat at Thousand Pines on 4/17. The 7th graders will be going on retreat on Tuesday, 4/18 to Santiago Retreat Center, when we return. Prayers for a beautiful encounter with Jesus on these events.
Open enrollment to the public began on March 1. If you did not register, your child will be automatically waitlisted. Those on a registration hold may not register until your hold is lifted by administration. All accounts must be current in order for your child to re-register as well. Finally, Yearbooks are now $40. Reserve your hardcover Yearbook now by sending a check made payable to the School with an order form.
Blessings,
Mrs. Grey and Mr. Lynch

SCHOOL DONATIONS AND SERVICE HOURS
For families looking to pay off their service hour commitment, our school gives the option to buy Scrip/gift cards and donate them to SAP. We buy a lot of materials and supplies from Office Depot, Walmart/Sam’s Club, Home Depot, Starbucks, and Target for much needed supplies, so if you buy Scrip valued at $15/hour and donate it to the school to offset costs, we will credit your service hour account. We are always in need of Yard Duty, Daycare, and Traffic PLC volunteers.
IMPORTANT REGISTRATION INFO for RETURNING FAMILIES
Re-Registration for current students is now complete. All registration forms need to be filled out online via FACTS.. If you have questions, please email Mr. Aguilar. Those with registration holds may not register for next year until your hold is expressly lifted by administration. Open Enrollment to the public began on 3/1/23. Those not registered will be automatically waitlisted.
KEEPING HANDS TO SELF, PERSONAL SPACE
Students have been reminded multiple times by me and their teachers that they need to keep their hands, feet, and all objects to themselves. If students are touching each other in any way, it could lead to detention or a referral. Please see the handbook. Remind your kids to keep their hand to themselves and stay in their bubble/personal space at all times. This is becoming a safety issue.
CELL PHONES NOT ALLOWED, SOCIAL MEDIA NOT A GOOD IDEA
Parents, please note that NO student in our K-8 school needs a cell phone. We have landlines available for their use. If a child is seen using their cell phone on campus it will be confiscated and will result in a referral on the progressive discipline chart. Your child’s use of devices should be limited at home (the doctor recommendation is 2 hours a day) and should only be used with direct supervision by a trusted adult. Do not let your child sleep with a device. Access to social media is NOT a good idea. Please monitor your child’s use at home. If their behavior online violates our Acceptable Use Policy, there will be serious consequences. NO EXCEPTIONS.
