Ms. Genesis Garcia is excited to be your child’s 5th grade teacher. She was born and raised in Manila, Philippines. Surrounded by teachers in her family, she passionately pursued the calling of becoming a teacher. She grew up in a Catholic community, attended public elementary and a Catholic high school. She attended one of the well-known and most respected universities in the Philippines, Far Eastern University, where she earned a Bachelor Degree in Secondary Education, with a Major in Mathematics. She recently completed her Master’s Degree in Urban Education at Loyola Mount University.
Ms. Garcia believes that to teach is to touch lives. Teaching and touching lives of young minds make her feel her worth and her purpose—an instrument of God. She is very excited to share the knowledge and talent God has given her in being able to help nurture and recognize her students’ potentials and God-given abilities.
