Welcome to the Seventh Grade Home Page!

Mr. De Loera is our Assistant Principal and 7th Grade homeroom teacher.

Mr. De Loera has been an educator for the past 13 years, working with students in grades K-12, teaching Technology, Special Education, Religion and Social Studies. He is currently the religious and social studies teacher for our 6th, 7th and 8th-grade classes. He is the advisor to Student Government, teaches our Theology of the Body program and coordinates our yearly 8th-grade pilgrimage.

He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Cal State Fullerton and received his teaching credential from Vanguard University. He is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Educational Leadership at Mount St. Mary’s University.

Mr. De Loera has a passion for service in the Church and has seen the necessity not only of a great education but that of spiritual nourishment for our youth. He is currently a catechist for youth and adults in his home parish and helps organize World Youth Day trips every three years. He strongly believes in St. Anthony’s school mission “to meet the religious, moral, intellectual, social, cultural, physical, and psychological needs of its students to prepare them for the challenges of the 21st century.” As a teacher and an administrator Mr. De Loera commits himself to contributing to this mission and keeping it the highest priority here at St. Anthony of Padua.
