Welcome to the Third Grade Home Page!
My name is Jessica Sardina, and I am very excited to be teaching third grade. I believe that if we want to see change in the world, we start by empowering the youth. With God’s grace, I hope to accompany the youth in developing strong character, compassionate faith, and inquisitive minds.
As Southern California native, I am returned home after a year of service in Mexico where I lived with the Salesian Sisters in a “casa de hogar” or children’s shelter. In college at Villanova University, I learned the importance of grounding education in a strong faith formation. At my Augustinian institution, I earned a Bachelor of Arts with a dual degree in humanities and English with minors in Spanish and Biology. This year I am continuing my second year working towards a Master’s of Arts in Urban Education through Loyola Marymount’s PLACE Program. It has been a joy to teach at St. Anthony of Padua and I look forward another beautiful year. God bless!
