Welcome to the Third Grade Home Page!
My name is Jessica Sardina, and I am very excited to be part of the St. Anthony of Padua community teaching third grade. I believe that if we want to see change in the world, we start by empowering the youth. With God’s grace, I hope to accompany the youth in developing strong character, compassionate faith, and inquisitive minds.
As Southern California native, I am returning home after a year of service in Mexico where I lived with the Salesian Sisters in a “casa de hogar” or children’s shelter. In college at Villanova University, I learned the importance of grounding education in a strong faith formation. At my Augustinian institution, I earned a Bachelor of Arts with a dual degree in humanities and English with minors in Spanish and Biology. This year I am blessed to begin my time in Loyola Marymount’s PLACE Program as part of Cohort 22 working towards a Master’s of Arts in Urban Education. God bless!
“For we have come to know and believe the love that God has for us. God is love and whoever abides in Love abides in God, and God in him” (John 4:16)
