Seventh Grade

Welcome to the Seventh Grade Home Page!

Christ Peace St. Anthony’s families and friends,

My name is Sr. Tho Pham, the blue nun at the school. I am so excited, honored, and looking forward to guiding our junior high students in math and science this year. With the grace of God, all things are possible!

I am a perpetual professed sister of the Lovers of the Holy Cross of Los Angeles. I have been with the community since 2001. I was born and raised in Orange County in a large loving Catholic family with 13 siblings. Yes! I have 7 brothers and 6 sisters and am number 11 in the family. I enjoy coffee, chocolate, and reading but I LOVE Jesus. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Child Human Adolescence Development and my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from CSUF emphasizing technology. I have also served as an educator in the Diocese of Orange for seven years, including three years teaching junior high math. And here I am sent by my community to this wonderful school family. This being my fourth year.

I look forward to developing all students’ spiritual, personal, social, and academic growth with the family. I am especially excited to begin our faith journey together. We will spend time in the presence of God through daily prayer, weekly Masses, and adoration of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. This year, a major goal for my students is to help them become successful independent learners who take responsibility for their learning and progress in school. I will be pushing students to think, analyze, and learn in more sophisticated and structured ways. To maximize this learning, together, we will create a classroom community that is supportive and respectful. This will be accomplished by daily looking for the good in one another, having an inclusive environment, and engaging in positive interactions among students, parents, and teachers.

Teaching in a Catholic school is not a job to me, but a ministry. The staff and faculty are committed to helping students reach their full potential. We care for and support one another. May we keep each other in love and prayers, asking the Holy Family for their guidance in raising our children to our best ability and God’s grace.

In Christ Crucified and the Immaculate Heart of Mary,

Sr. Tho Pham, LHC
