Dear Students, Parents/Guardians,
Last Friday, 9/30 we had our Blue Mass. We had a small reception in the hall for our first responders. Student Government members helped greet our guests and they were all very impressed by our students. Thanks to our Hospitality/Welcoming PLC for coordinating the event!
Today, 10/3, is our school’s Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at 10am to celebrate the completion of our new school facilities. Bishop Marc Trudeau and our generous donors from the Shea Family Charities and other organizations will be at this milestone event. Guests will tour the preschool and our school.
Tomorrow, 10/4 is our All School Mass to celebrate the Feast of St. Francis. Students must wear their Formal Mass Uniforms to school. Any questions about uniform, please refer to our Parent Student Handbook.
Our Fall Candy Sale continues. Those who turned in their money last Friday will qualify for the first of two Trojan Drawings. This will take place on Zoom at 10:30am on Wed, 10/5 in the classrooms. Teachers will mirror it on their projectors.. More info to come from Angelic Nunez-Scott and Monica Torres.
Our Resident Principal, Mr. Lynch, continues to do uniform inspections on campus. As stated in our meeting and to your children in person, three (3) uniform infractions equal one detention. Please make sure your child is following all uniform guidelines. We ask all parents to read the Parent Student Handbook with their child and pay close attention to the school’s uniform policy. Administration reserves the right to make the final call on what is appropriate and not appropriate, according to the policy and ADLA uniform guidelines for Catholic schools. Students can express individuality on Free Dress Days, as long as they are within the free dress guidelines.
