Dear Kindergarten Families,
I hope everyone is well and having a blessed weekend.
Our school honored our community’s first responders with last Friday’s Blue Mass. Thank you to everyone who helped with the reception which proudly displayed Kindergarten artwork! Our class wrote and illustrated Thank You cards, hero coloring sheets, and decorated their own helping hands.
While getting into used to routines, modeling our Tribes Agreements, and learning how to thrive in our classroom family, we continue to reinforce the values kindness and gratitude. Daily, we say and sign, “Jesus, come into my heart.”
Thank you to everyone who turned in September’s monthly packet. The October packet will be sent home tomorrow via the green folder.
10/2-10/5 NOON DISMISSAL (PARENT-TEACHER CONFERENCE), NO SCHOOL ON FRIDAY
This week, Monday – Thursday, will be noon dismissal for students. As usual, we will have PE on Wednesday. Daycare is offered from 12-6pm.
Each family is given a 15 minute time slot, if you arrive 10 minutes late, you will be rescheduled to the next available slot. I will be discussing your child’s STAR test results and progress report.
If you need to check our conference time, please check the Sign Up Genius link sent these last two weeks:

Please keep in mind that the progress report is just a snapshot of where your child is at right now. Final Grades will be given at the end of the 1st trimester.
Halloween Costumes
To ensure that all costumes follow our School’s Halloween costume guidelines, I would like to ask everyone what costume their child is planning to wear on October 31st. Please be sure costumes meet all these guidelines. They must be appropriate and pre-approved, or a student may be sent home to change. While in costume, please be sure your child can use the restroom independently. Kindly send me an email to let me know what your child is wearing no later than October 27th.
- Costumes should be child-friendly. No inflatables, no gory or scary clowns, no devils, or scary costumes
- Costumes Should Not:
- Be obstructive, offensive, inappropriate for a Catholic school (skimpy or revealing), gory, evil, or violent
- Drag on the ground
- Contain sharp objects, pointed objects, or materials that may accidentally strike another person.
- Contain any weapons that resemble or could be mistaken for an actual weapon.
- Encourage cross-dressing. Boys dress up like boys, and girls dress up like girls.
Thank you to our Room Parent team who is planning Kindergarten’s Trunk or Treat. Stay tuned for more information.
Dress-Up
In celebration of All Saints Day on November 1st, students may come to school dressed up as ANY Saint.
Saint costumes do not need to be elaborate! Students will process in Mass with the school in their costumes. Costumes should go over your child’s school uniform, as we will be changing after Mass. This will be part of their Religion participation grade.
