Hello and Happy Halloween!
The kids had a wonderful time seeing the Sound of Music! It was so cute to watch them singing along to Do, Re, Mi and the goatherds! Out of the many schools that were there, the staff from the theater commented on how polite and well-behaved St. Anthony students were at the show! The kiddos are so good! Many thanks to you all for the kind gift basket I received after my retreat. You are all so wonderful!
Exciting week ahead! Tuesday is Halloween! The kids told me their Halloween costumes and got approval so that everyone is wearing fun and school-appropriate costumes. They will have noon dismissal. Wednesday is All Saints Day! Students need to bring their saint craft to school to present on Wednesday and slides should be done no later than Monday night. Reminder: Students come to school dressed as their saint on Wednesday. it can be as simple as being wrapped in a linen sheet with a belt.
Tutoring- this week there will not be reading comprehension/ grammar /vocab /spelling quiz on Friday and no journeys or vocabulary homework for the week. The end of the trimester approaches, so I will offer tutoring on Monday and Thursday after school for those who need to catch up in AR or ST Math.
